The Barossa Legends
recognize participants who have been long standing supporters of the Barossa
Half Marathon.
There are two categories :
'Almost a Barossa Legend' are participants who have completed five or more Barossa Half Marathons.
'True Barossa Legends' have completed ten or more Barossa Half Marathons and are rewarded a T-shirt & a bottle of local wine.
Four people were bestowed the honour of True Barossa Legend after the 2007 event. They were David Billett, Lorraine Billett, Christine Lubcke and Mark Howard. It is great to see more women becoming TBL's and Lorraine is extra notable being the first person to have walked 10 Barossa Half Marathons.
